My journey with photography began well before I was even born; with two grandfathers who were photographers, it would be fair to say that it runs in my blood.  I remember a story of my grandpa winning a photography set in a magazine as a boy and that prompted a life long pursuit.   So when the opportunity arose in high school to take a photography class, I took it, and fell in love.  Shortly thereafter I attended a local film school here in Colorado, then went on to Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Though my classes lead me down a different path, I never lost my interest in this passion.  While attending CSU, I worked for a company shooting products, gaining a great deal of experience with cameras and lighting techniques.  After two years and over 25,000 photos I started to lose interest.  The idea that something I loved so much could get old left me distressed and I began to question the cause.  The answer was simple, there was something missing; People.

There is no greater feeling than capturing a moment in someone’s life and presenting it to them on film.  Not even words can tell a story better than a photo and its a part of a history that can be passed on for generations.

Outside of photography, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I live near Denver amidst the downtown atmosphere with the majestic backdrop of the Colorado mountains.
